The Hon. Olivia is wearing an early Edwardian jacket and skirt suit. The jacket is removeable. The (lined) suit is made from gold satin heavily embroidered and trimmed with hand-laid coffee lace. Olivia's blouse is made from white cotton and heavily trimmed with guipure lace. The Hon. Olivia also wears a silk grosgrain "boater" type hat (also removeable) trimmed with feathers and ribbons, and carries a matching bag. Beneath the outfit Olivia wears white cotton and lace pantaloons and (2) petticoats.

Sybil is going to a ball and wears a larkspur blue crystal satin gown with a silver grey silk velvet train, over-laid with silver grey Nottingham lace. The gown is lined and is worn over white cotton and lace pantaloons and petticoats. Sybil wears a feather and flowerbud hair ornament and carries a gold mesh evening bag, and also a black coney evening stole.
